This is an experimental page for some Flinders residents only! No guarantees of accuracy of output!!
(Sorry this won't render well on a mobile phone!)

(Version with customiser)

This page lets you upload your home's energy use data for 1 year and analyse it to give your annual energy consumption and total solar exports. It uses your National Metering Identifier (NMI) data that contains all your imported and exported energy for the past year at 5 or 30 minute intervals. Just 2 easy steps:

Step 1

Download your NMI data from from United Energy:

(If you don’t have a United Energy account, please click on the Register an account and follow the instructions)

  • You should see your Dashboard. Click  View Details , then  Download reports .
The one to download is '4. Victorian Energy Compare report' (ending in UNITEDENERGY_VEC.csv).

Step 2

Upload your data to our Analyser app:

Click  Choose CSV File  in the FZCC Energy Cost Analyser below and explore your data. We suggest that you aim to:

  1. Get an understanding of how much energy you Consume and Export each year.

  2. Look at our small selection of power companies to see your likely costs (these rates are only indicative - not updated - be warned!)

  3. See how these costs vary by season - you might find that you can save money by switching companies every 6 months (it's easy!).

(See here for more info about the VEN on EnergyLocals 'PowerTracer' scheme and you can download a VEN info sheet here.)

Play & enjoy :)
